Why does a project link want me to download Design Space instead of open the project?

If you're using an iOS device, such an iPad or iPhone, you cannot simply tap project links and expect them to open in Design Space. If you just tap them, they will open a window in your Safari browser and ask you to download Design Space.

Instead, here's what you do:

1. Make sure the Cricut Design Space is open on your iPad or iPhone first.

2. TAP and HOLD the link to get the context menu to appear

3. In that menu, choose "Open in Cricut Design"

This is demonstrated in Unit 1, Lesson 2 beginning at timestamp 14:38:

If you do not see "Open in 'Cricut Design.' look for "Open in Split View" instead and watch this video:
.searchie-container { position: relative; padding-bottom: 56.25%; height: 0; overflow: hidden; max-width: 100%; } .searchie-container iframe, .searchie-container object, .searchie-container embed { position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%; }
If that still does not work, download the Google Chrome browser and install it on your iPhone or iPad, then access the course from Google Chrome rather than Safari, and THEN try doing all of the above!
