How do I cut heavy crepe paper?

Heavy crepe paper is not easy to cut. You need a mat that is sticky enough to hold it in place without hurting it and enough pressure to actually cut through. And, of course, you need to be using the rotary blade on the original Maker or Maker 3. I have had success with the following:

Green StandardGrip mat (very sticky) + Crepe Paper material setting + More Pressure

Pink FabricGrip mat (new) + Handmade Paper material setting + More Pressure

Remember, do test cuts!
